CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. (YC) – Chester County District Attorney Thomas Hogan announced the arrest of a teacher alleging she had sex with a student.

Melissa Bonkoski, 38, a science teacher from Owen J. Roberts High School in South Coventry Township, Chester County was arrested previously for inappropriate contact with the student, but now faces charges today following her arrest for actually having sex with the student.

The investigation was triggered when the victim’s girlfriend discovered suspicious texts from the defendant to the victim.

The teacher purchased a burner phone for communications with the student thinking it could not be traced back to her.

Unfortunately- it’s 2017 & burner phones aren’t as slick as you’d think as this former teacher now faces a slew of new charges.
