SLAUGHTER BEACH, Del. — Firefighters battled a fire in Sussex County, Delaware on Christmas night.

It started around 7:30 p.m. Monday in Slaughter Beach along Bay Avenue near Beach Road.

There is no word on injuries or a cause at this time.
