Robert Russell, a close friend of chief Cosby accuser Andrea Constand broke his silence after 18 years about the ghosts in the Constand family's background.

Andrea’s mother hates black men,” Robert Russell, a close friend of the Constand family told  YC during an exclusive interview in a suburban hotel outside of Philadelphia.

Andrea Constand is the lone Cosby accuser who brought criminal charges charges  against the comedian for an alleged assault that occurred nearly 18 years ago.

“What they have done is disgraceful,” Russell told us. “I’ll never forget when she told me she’d like to see all niggers gathered together and killed. That is genocide. She spoke like Adolf Hitler. I realized what I was getting involved in and got out of it like a bat out of hell. That family was dark and I don’t want anything to do with them.”

Lead attorney Tom Mesereau says his team had unearthed an old pal of Andrea Constand, Robert Russell, to bring out the ghosts in Andrea & Gianna Constand’s past.

Yet Judge Steven O’Neill blocked the lawyers from introducing the tales of drug use, greed, racism that included a deep hatred for African-Americans — a hatred so deep and dark he claims Andrea’s mother, Gianna Constand, wanted to “see all niggers gathered together and killed.” However, Judge O’Neill wouldn’t allow it after prosecutors argued it would taint the jurors perspective on who the Constand’s were so much that it could poison their minds and likely change the outcome.

Russell — who started to say he was “more than a close friend” of Constand’s before he was cut off by an objection — took the stand for a mere five minutes to testify that while he knew her in Canada in 2001, she was pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.

Why didn’t he come out earlier?

He did. Russell came out during Constand’s initial complaint against Bill Cosby but police didn’t want to hear any of what he had to say — so Russell reached out to Cosby’s former legal team, led by Philadelphia based lawyer Brian McMonagle, who interviewed him and got a statement. The defense didn’t call him to testify after Judge O’Neill denied the motion to have Margo Jackson testify at the comedian’s trial in June 2017 on the grounds that Constand denied knowing her.

At the retrial, Constand changed her testimony and testified that she did know Margo Jackson, who was then brought in to testify, stating Andrea Constand told her she could set up a celebrity but the police didn’t follow up with her as it would not help their case against the comedian.

“She despised black people — she didn’t want any black men or women in her house.” Russell sat down with our investigative team and provided the testimony Judge Steven T. O’Neill barred after Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele thought it would impact jurors by painting a negative picture of Andrea Constand and her background, who alleges Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in his Cheltenham home nearly 18 years ago.

Not one bit of sexual assault is tolerable. Bill Cosby is definitely not proud of some of the things that happened during his marriage but does that add up to sexual assault?

Bruce Castor opened an investigation on Bill Cosby for reports of a powerful black man sexually assaulting a white woman. After a lengthy investigation, he found Constand wasn’t credible given her extreme contradictions on what happened, when it happened and why it happened.

The prosecution entrusted this case on a family, who according to our source, made it clear they ‘despised black men’ and ‘wanted revenge on black people’ after their daughter lost her boyfriend to a black woman. “She didn’t like that,” Russel told us, referring to Gianna Constand, Andrea’s mother. “She [Andrea] would do anything to please her parents.” Constand allegedly had a brief relationship with NBA star Steve Nash which was cut short after he was photographed with a black woman, who Andrea’s mother referred to as a ‘bimbo’ compared to her daughter.

Kevin Steele spoke about 2015 but he missed the whole point. Something interesting happened in 2015.

2015 Timeline & How It Ties In

Kevin Steele was running for district attorney against Bruce Castor. Steele reached out to the Constand family through their attorney, Dolores Troiani and reopened the criminal investigation against Bill Cosby, an opportunity to make national headlines and likely boost his publicity locally.

2015: Cosby Files Go Missing

Steele reached out to the Constand family through their civil attorney who filed a $3.4 million lawsuit against Cosby, Dolores Troiani asking if he could have a copy of the Bill Cosby file with the intention of reopening the investigation. Steele and Troiani met in July 2015, just a few months before the Constand’s would file a civil suit against Steele’s competitor, Bruce Castor. “So, basically, what they took was their own file back. I believe I gave them the depositions. I don’t think – I gave them some investigative things that we had done,” Troiani testified in federal court. “I did not keep a log of what I gave them, but, basically, it was my impression that what had occurred was that the – their police reports were not in the possession of the D.A. from ten years ago.”

2015: Criminal Investigation Reopened

After Steele met with Troiani and obtained ten boxes of documents, including the original police reports from the Constands and Cosby, he reopened the investigation, according to federal court documents obtained by YC. “After discussions between you and your client and then First Assistant District Attorney Kevin R. Steele, we have now reopened the investigation,” an official letter from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office addressed to Troiani states.

2015: ‘A Hardened Racist Orchestrated This Whole Thing’

Andrea’s mother, according to our source, wasn’t pleased with the decision not to prosecute Cosby because she’s ‘a hardened racist.’ Gianna Constand told Russel in 2001 after Steve Nash was photographed with a black woman ‘look at this bimbo’ enraged that Nash chose her over Andrea. From his time spent at the Constand household, at times staying over for several nights at a time, he said he believes her mother ‘orchestrated’ the entire thing as “Andrea didn’t have the intelligence to do this on her own.”

2015: One Hand Washes the Other

Just as Steele vowed to reopen the investigation, the Constands filed a federal lawsuit days before the election ended, dropping a bomb on Bruce Castor’s campaign — painting him as an incompetent district attorney who refused to prosecute Bill Cosby. Steele used that to his advantage and received $164,783.00 for television ads criticizing Bruce Castor. The ads were miraculously produced, edited and distributed to several television networks in under 5 days. “It isn’t possible for someone to create such a commercial, edit it, cut clips, film it and distribute it in a time period like that,” a former reality television producer from Magical Elves, an Emmy Award winning production company behind acclaimed hits such as Cold Justice, Project Greenlight, Time of Death, Top Chef and many more. “Something like that takes weeks! You have to budget it, film it, edit it and negotiate airtime deals with networks. No way you could do that in a week or even two weeks.” Did Steele work with Gianna Constand, Andrea Constand and their civil lawyer to use Cosby as a campaign tactic? That’s up to the public to figure out, but it isn’t physically possible to run ads with a few day notice. The same day the suit was filed, Steele’s ad-spending for television commercials went up 171.1%.

Steele, days after communicating with the Constands through their attorney in 2015 received nearly $200k in his campaign fund from his brother in Florida.

2015: What does this have to do with Cosby and his charges?

Though when all said and done, one could reasonably assume that Steele worked alongside the Constand family with the civil suit against Castor — whether he was directly or indirectly involved, there is no evidence to prove that. However, Steele likely won the election based on the negative publicity Castor received following the federal lawsuit days before residents cast their votes and in return, charges were filed against Cosby. If Constand lost her lawsuit against Castor, the counter-suit from Castor and violated the confidentiality agreement, she would be left with a mountain of financial woes if Cosby was found not guilty as she would lose both suits with former district attorney Bruce Castor and would likely have to return the $3.4 million for violating the confidentiality agreement. The stakes were high.

Okay, this is just one woman. What about the other accusers?

The question many people have posed and will continue to pose. Sure, Andrea Constand is just one of dozens of accusers who allege Bill Cosby either sexually assaulted, molested or raped them. However, Andrea Constand and her mother are the only two who faced the comedian in criminal court. If you take Andrea Constand out of the picture, Bill Cosby wouldn’t be on trial. If Andrea Constand and the Constand family are found to be liars and  ‘hardened racists’ who are using Bill Cosby for a personal vendetta, it would force the either the Superior Court or Supreme Court to reconsider the criminal trial and the outcome. The trial against Bill Cosby was based solely on eyewitness testimony and speculation — out of those who testified, higher courts will only consider the Commonwealth’s key witness and accuser, Andrea and Gianna Constand. Their decision would be based on testimony that many would question their faith in if Robert Russell, the close family friend was permitted to testify.

If Cosby did assault other women, that would be a separate issue and it would be dealt with in other courts — but this trial, conviction and his fate rests on the testimony of Andrea and Gianna Constand.

Gianna Constand:  ‘Personification of Evil’ & ‘Hardened Racist’

“You have a lying mother, the personification of evil who likely urged her daughter to file charges after her parents saw Andrea gained nothing out of the relationship with Bill Cosby.” Russell told us.

Gianna Constand’s Vow to Breakup An Interracial Relationship

“She said if she ever saw her daughter in an interracial relationship she would stop her and if she couldn’t, she’d make something up.” Referring to Gianna Constand, the mother of Andrea. “It all goes back to her very first boyfriend. Her mother put all her hopes in Steve Nash — her mother was devastated when that photo came out with him and a black woman.” Russell told us.

If jurors lost their trust in Constand, the prosecution would’ve likely lost the case as her testimony was the only one permitted to be considered evidence.

“Don’t be fooled,” Russel told us. “Gianna Constand isn’t just ‘Andrea’s mother,’ she represents the the entire Montgomery County District Attorneys Office & Judge O’Neill” as they barred any testimony that would’ve hurt her reputation to jurors, including her hatred and anger towards black people. “This all goes back to her first boyfriend. Hands down.”

The defining moment of the trial revolved around the jurors believing Constand was a holistic person from a welcoming family — something that would’ve been refuted if Robert Russell were able to testify to his past with the family. When asked if he believed Constand would lie to please her mother, Russel told us “absolutely. She would do anything to please her parents.”

‘Convicting a powerful black man.’

Steele’s entire campaign was based on convicting Bill Cosby & Andrea Constand’s mother’s entire motive behind the case was about ‘convicting a powerful black man,’ even if it involved wrongfully convicting a man to save face.

By forbidding such testimony from the ears of the jury, Montgomery County opened it’s doors and allowed a ‘racist, evil, dangerous’ and ‘scary’ family into their courtroom for what Russell believed was “part of a plan to get revenge on black people, and they succeeded.” The prosecution was accused of giving a racial remark in the corridors of the courthouse during jury selection — stating that he was “tired of this black shit,” a source who was in the courthouse each day of the trial told us she overheard it. Reporter Stacy Brown also tweeted about the alleged incident, which was one of two incidents regarding racial discrimination throughout the trial. The second included the defense’s claim that the prosecutors argued two black jurors would be sufficient for Cosby’s trial.

“When I saw all of this I said to myself: that’s a lie, that’s a lie, that’s a lie.” Russell said, speaking about when he first saw Bill Cosby was charged for sexually assaulted Andrea Constand.”I know what that family is capable of doing. It doesn’t surprise me. It’s like, this is, I don’t know how else to say it .. she pulled it off. All I can say is that family has the capability of doing that stuff. I saw how her mother was setting Andrea up to get exactly what Andrea’s mother wanted. Money and revenge.” Russell continued. “Every time I look at the pictures when she’s walking in the court she has that smile, she has that smirk. Man if I was raped and I was coming to court I would not have a smile on my face. She’s walking. She’s gloating. She knows exactly what she’s doing. Andrea Constand …” Russell paused. “I don’t want to be in her life. I don’t want her to be anywhere close to me.”

If jurors didn’t trust Constand or Steele, there would be nothing left as no evidence was provided to back her allegations. Jurors relied solely on Andrea Constand’s account of what happened and the prosecution’s statements.

When Steele read Russell’s statement, he knew that testimony like that would stir too much controversy inside that would result in a major implication in the courtroom and outside of it. “Three criminal charges, promised during an unethical campaign for the district attorney’s office, were filed against my husband…” Camille Cosby wrote in a statement earlier this week. “All based on what I believe to be a falsified account by the newly elected district attorney’s key witness. I firmly believe her recent testimony during trial was perjured; as was shown at trial, it was unsupported by any evidence and riddled with innumerable, dishonest contradictions.”

“This is wrong.” Russel said. “Bill Cosby was entitled to an acquittal. I can’t speak for any of the other accusers, but when it comes to Andrea Constand, I could’ve showed them who she really was.”

Gianna Constand, Andrea Constand’s Mother, “Coached Her”

“I think Gianna was sitting back, accumulating information taking notes after notes after notes in order to accomplish one goal.” Russell said. “I think Andrea’s mother always went back to Andrea’s first boyfriend, Steve Nash. She carried that bitterness, that hate, towards a black man. This was her opportunity to rebel against a black man. I think that’s what she did – and when she saw it was time to put a hook in Bill Cosby, I think that Andrea’s mother, coached her in how to put a hook in him.”

“Her knowing Bill Cosby, it was time for evil and good to fight one another.”

When asked why Andrea would take any pills — which experts testified were Benadryl, Russell replied: “The only thing I could think of, she’s planning. She has a plan to tear someone apart. Andrea would not take anything in her mouth if she doesn’t know exactly what it is. It’s just not her way. Even if her own mother gave her a pill, she wouldn’t take it without examining it and identifying what it was.”

Andrea Constand Taught Me What A Home-Wrecker Was

Andrea was questioned by Tom Mesereau during her testimony about why she didn’t ever inquire about Bill Cosby’s wife — whether it be where she was, if she thought getting in a married man’s bed at a hotel and giving him gifts that included bath salts and incense was appropriate. On the contrary, Bill Cosby also gave Constand gifts ranging from perfume to cashmere sweaters. Both men and women could agree exchanging gifts is common in a love affair, whether it be short-term or long-term.

“Bill Cosby is a married man who the defense argued had an affair with Andrea Constand. After a series of questions Tom Mesereau asked Andrea under oath about Bill Cosby’s wife, Camille Cosby, Andrea told Mesereau it was none of her business to ask about Camille, stating she never saw her, asked where she was or cared to inquire about her. She also brought him gifts, one of which was bath salts. Would she bring him bath salts and incense without an expectation of getting something in return?”

“I would take that as a romantic activity is about to happen.” Russell told us. “When I heard that, the first thing that came to my mind is when Andrea pointed out something to me down on Yonge Street when were walking & she said ‘you see that person there?’ I said ‘yeah.’ It was a woman — Andrea said ‘she’s a home wrecker.’ I said ‘a home wrecker?'” Russell continued. “She said ‘yeah, this is a person who breaks up a home.’ She knows how to break up a home. I think she made that attempt with Bill Cosby.” Russell said he spent a lot of time with Constand at a cafe-restaurant called “7 West” which, according to Robert, was approximately 15-minutes away from her home in North Toronto.

Discussing Andrea & Gianna Constand’s Testimony

As the interview slowly ended, our team got on the topic of the testimonies provided by the Constand family which included Andrea, Gianna and Andrea’s brother-in-law Stewart Parsons.

“Andrea testified that she had breakfast at the home following the assault because she didn’t want to be rude,” our reporter asked Robert Russell. “Does that sound like something Andrea would do?”

“Personally, Andrea would put on the boxing gloves and beat you up. If she doesn’t like something, she doesn’t let anything slide.” Russel said. “She has that very aggressive attitude to things she doesn’t like and how I know that is because I’ve seen that attitude fly. Someone asked her ‘do you have a smoke?’ Andrea looked at the guy and said ‘do I look like a person that smokes?'”

Who is Robert Russell?

Robert is a Canadian native who met Andrea Constand at a Nike store where she worked as a cashier in the early 2000’s. Russell says their relationship instantly sparked a strong emotional and physical bond that ended after he realized “what he was dealing with.”

A brief video showcasing their relationship could be found here.

Statement by Camille Cosby earlier this week

Since when are all accusers truthful?” Camille Cosby wrote in a statement earlier this week. “History disproves that…for example, Emmett Till’s accuser immediately comes to mind. In 1955, she testified before a jury of white men in a Mississippi courtroom that a 14-year-old African American boy had sexually assaulted her, only to later admit several decades later in 2008 that her testimony was false.

The worst injustices, however, have been carried out in the Pennsylvania Montgomery County Courthouse. Three criminal charges, promised during an unethical campaign for the district attorney’s office, were filed against my husband…all based on what I believe to be a falsified account by the newly elected district attorney’s key witness. I firmly believe her recent testimony during trial was perjured; as was shown at trial, it was unsupported by any evidence and riddled with innumerable, dishonest contradictions.

Moreover, Bill Cosby’s defense team introduced the testimony of a witness who confirmed that the district attorney’s witness admitted that she had not been sexually assaulted, but that she could say she was and get money … which is exactly what she did.

Once again, an innocent person has been found guilty based on an unthinking, unquestioning, unconstitutional frenzy propagated by the media and allowed to play out in a supposed court of law. This is mob justice, not real justice. This tragedy must be undone not just for Bill Cosby, but for the country.

I wish to thank the witnesses who courageously came forward at trial to testify as to the truth, as well as those witnesses who would have done so but for the judge preventing them from testifying. Someday the truth will prevail, it always does.”
