Disgraced Delaware County State Representative Margo Davidson’s son, Joel Davidson, is behind bars again for felony charges stemming from an alleged burglary Monday, yc.news has exclusively learned.
Upper Darby Police picked up 26-year-old Joel Davidson Friday for an alleged burglary that occurred Monday Oct. 26, police tell yc.news.
We told you first, earlier this year Margo called her son Joel “mentally unstable” but used him to file a frivolous lawsuit against her political opponent. The lawsuit was ultimately dropped.
The disgraced politician’s son attempted to break into a home just after 5:30 a.m. last week on the 200 block of Wembly Road in Upper Darby through a rear window, police said.
“Joel Davidson had come to the rear door and smashed a window attempting to gain entry,” charging documents indicate. “A short time later Davidson began to post videos to Instagram, in which he ‘tagged’ the victim.”
Davidson admitted in the Instagram video that he damaged the victim’s vehicle and threatened to kill the victim and her boyfriend, police tell yc.news.
Joel Davidson is charged with two felony burglary charges and two misdemeanors including terroristic threats.
We broke the news … Margo Davidson was under fire for continuously plowing her taxpayer-funded vehicle into other cars on the roadway with a suspended drivers license. The Pennsylvania State Police told yc.news that the politician even fled the scene of one accident.
He was remanded to the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail set by Upper Darby Judge Harry J. Karapalides.
His brother, Robert Davidson, remains on probation for a heroin ring he was leading while his mother is awaiting several appeals for continuously crashing her taxpayer-funded vehicle on a suspended license.
