FBI probe Jussie Smollett investigation, sources confirm

• Law enforcement sources tell yc.news that the FBI are probing the Empire star after detectives of the Chicago Police Department unearthed new evidence during their investigation.
• Smollett allegedly snatched props, including the noose, from a play he performed at the night prior to the alleged attack.
• The two brothers who were questioned by police told them that Smollett paid them to stage the attack in a ‘viral video gone wrong.’


Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation have intervened with the investigation into Jussie Smollett, who alleged that he was attacked by ‘politically motivated’ thugs, yc.news could confirm.

“Agents of the FBI Chicago Field Office are assisting both local and state law enforcement officials with their investigation into Jussie Smollett,” a law enforcement source told yc.news. “All information gathered will be turned over to the Cook County State Attorney’s Office to present to the grand jury.”

We told you first, Smollett was snitched on by two brothers who allege the Empire star paid them off to stage the attack after the television star snagged props, including the noose he alleges was used in the attack at a play he was performing in the day before the alleged attack.
