Philadelphia, Pa. – The Philadelphia Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the bank robbery this morning of the Beneficial Bank branch located at 6401 Woodland Avenue.
At approximately 11 a.m., the subject entered the bank and showed a teller a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled on foot. The suspect was last seen heading north on 64th Street.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid 30s, approximately 5’9” tall, with a dark complexion and black goatee. He was wearing a black winter jacket with furry trim around the hood, khaki pants, black gloves, and white sneakers.
This suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or this subject is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There is a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
