    West Wing, The White House – In the morning, President Donald J. Trump will lead a bilateral meeting with the Taoiseach of Ireland. The President will then depart the White House en route to the United States Capitol. 

    In the afternoon, the President will attend the Friends of Ireland Luncheon, where he will make remarks. The President will then depart the United States Capitol en route to the White House. Later in the afternoon, the President will welcome the Taoiseach and Mrs. Kenny of Ireland to the White House.

    In the evening, the President will make remarks at the St. Patrick’s Day reception.

    Detailed Schedule for March 16

    • 10:30 a.m. – POTUS leads a bilateral meeting with the Taoiseach of Ireland in the Oval Office. 
    • 11:45 a.m. – POTUS departs the White House en route to the United States Capitol
    • 12:05 p.m. – POTUS participates in and makes remarks at the Friends of Ireland Luncheon at the United States Capitol. 
    • 2:00 p.m. – Press Briefing with Press Secretary Sean Spicer in the White House Briefing Room. 
    •  5:45 p.m. – POTUS welcomes the Taoiseach and Mrs. Kenny of Ireland in the Diplomatic Room of the White House. 
    • 6:00 p.m. – POTUS makes remarks at the St. Patrick’s Day Reception in the East Room.
