West Wing, The White House – In the morning, President Donald J. Trump will meet with the Republican Study Committee. The President will then lead a listening session on Veterans’ Affairs. Later in the morning, President Trump will welcome Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany. The President will then lead a bilateral meeting with Chancellor Merkel. 

In the afternoon, the President Trump will lead a roundtable discussion on vocational training with United States and German business leaders. The President and Chancellor Merkel will then hold a joint press conference. Later in the afternoon, President Trump will have a working luncheon with Chancellor Merkel. 

In the evening, the President will depart the White House for Joint Base Andrews en route to West Palm Beach, Florida.

  • 9:30 a.m. – POTUS meets with the Republican Study Committee in the Oval Office. 
  • 10:00 a.m. – POTUS leads a listening session on Veterans’ Affairs in the Roosevelt Room. 
  • 11:20 a.m. – POTUS welcomes Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany in the West Wing Lobby. 
  • 11:30 a.m. – POTUS meets with Chancellor Merkel in the Oval Office. 
  • 11:45 a.m. – POTUS leads a bilateral meeting with Chancellor Merkel in the Oval Office. 
  • 12:30 p.m. – POTUS leads a roundtable discussion on vocational training with United States and German business leaders in the Cabinet Room. 
  • 1:20 p.m. – POTUS and Chancellor Merkel hold a joint press conference in the East Room. 
  • 1:50 p.m. – POTUS has a working luncheon with Chancellor Merkel in the State Dining Room. 
  • 4:00 p.m. – POTUS departs the White House en route to Joint Base Andrews from the White House.
  • 4:20 p.m. – POTUS departs Joint Base Andrews en route to West Palm Beach, Florida from Joint Base Andrews. 
  • 6:35 p.m. – POTUS arrives in West Palm Beach, Florida.
