CHESTER, Pa. (YC) – Fire crews responded when a number of dumpsters and trucks were on fire at J & K Trash Removal at the intersection of West Front St. & Palmer St. in Chester.
Upon arriving to the scene, we noticed employees quickly moving the dump trucks that had not caught fire to an alleyway across the street while firefighters worked to control the fire.
The incident happened at approximately 3:00am. Fire crews upgraded the incident to a second-alarm fire at 3:49am.
A firefighter was injured at the scene.
