MEDIA,Pa. (YC) – Police are on the scene of an investigation involving a standoff.
The standoff took place on the 200 block of East Baltimore Pike.

Officers responded to the area after a report of a robbery in progress around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say the robber tried to stage a standoff, but realized he was out numbered.
Police arrived before the suspect could get away.
YC staged across the street at Sunoco where law enforcement came for the restroom during the standoff. At one point, police believed the suspect might’ve gotten away. When police and tactical teams realized the suspect was hiding in a storage area, they quickly called for all emergency personnel to evacuate the building.

At 11:23 p.m. the suspect was taken into custody.
There were no reports of any injuries.
