Haverford man gunned down in daytime shooting

Haverford Township, Pa. (YC) – Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Haverford Twp., Delaware County.

Just after 6 p.m. Saturday a man was shot and killed on the 2300 block of Haverford Road.

Several police departments responded in search for the shooter described as a black male in his mid-20’s.

The suspect was last seen running towards the Exxon gas station on the corner of the intersection wearing a maroon, long-sleeved hoodie and blue jeans.

The gun was last seen in the front waste of the shooter.

A witness at the bar across the street told YC he heard two gunshots before leaving the bar to get a firearm from his truck. When he exited, the suspect confronted him and asked, “What are you looking at?” The man from the bar has a license to carry a firearm. He was not injured.
