Developing: Armed robbery at pharmacy in Media, Pa.

MEDIA, DELAWARE COUNTY – Media Police are reporting Murray Overhill Pharmacy was robbed by an armed male who robbed the store by a point of a gun and left the scene on foot.

Just before 2:30 p.m. Media Police were dispatched to 32 W State St.

According to preliminary reports, the suspect is armed with a handgun that he displayed in the robbery in addition to another firearm he took from the pharmacy.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned tall and thin male wearing a dark women’s Burka.

He then robbed the pharmacy at gunpoint for an undetermined amount of narcotics.

The incident is being investigated by Media Borough Police. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Nobody was injured.
