Local firefighters honored in Delaware County

Delaware County Councilman Dave White, District Attorney Jack Whelan and Delaware County Emergency Services Director Tim Boyce joined officials from Aqua Pennsylvania for an annual picnic at Springton Lake Park on Aug. 23 held to honor and thank local firefighters.

During the picnic Councilman White and District Attorney Whelan thanked and commended the over 100 firefighters in attendance for their bravery and dedication in keeping the community safe.
