Just after 2 a.m. a wild police chase came to a wild end — similar to what you’d see on the big screen. It turns out the suspect realized GMC Yukons are not the ideal choice for someone who wants to lose the police.
After driving through the city, the man took down a light pole, fence and a number of other objects before being rushed to Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
The driver wrecked his car on the 1000 block of East Williams Circle at 2:02 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, there were two individuals in the vehicle when it crashed. However, police only located one. It is not clear what the two were on the run from.
The chase happened in Chester Township, not Chester City. However, Chester Police did assist in the pursuit.
This is a developing story.
