    The Purge? Chester makes arrest in viral creepy armed robber case

    CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) — Chester Police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Cameron Key’shawn of Chester City.

    YC broke the news after Key’shawn allegedly robbed an elderly woman with a shotgun on Friday the 13th. The actor resembled a character from the film ‘The Purge.’

    “Thanks to the family of the victim, numerous news agencies broadcasted this incident which included showing video clips and photographs of the alleged actor,” Chester City Police Captain James P. Chubb told reporters. “Once broadcasted, the City of Chester Police Departments Detective Division received numerous tips of the possible identity of the alleged actor.”

    Chester City Police executed an arrest warrant for the alleged actor Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2:15 p.m. after a tip was received that the alleged actor had entered a residence in the 100 block of East 23rd St.

    Officers and detectives from the City of Chester Police Department converged on the residence Key’shawn where he was located attempting to flee from a roof of the residence.

    Key’shawn was taken in to custody without incident.

    At this time the alleged actor is waiting to be arraigned.

    The City of Chester Police Department would like to personally thank the victim, the family of the victim, and all of the news agencies and reporters, as well as the citizens of Chester who assisted with this investigation.
