Chester City Police hear gunshots; 50-year-old woman gunned down

CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) – Police on patrol in Chester City heard gunshots and when they got to the scene, they found a woman, suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower back.

It happened just after 10pm Monday at the intersection of 12th & Highland.

The victim — a 50-year-old woman — was rushed to the hospital where her condition remains unknown.

After she was shot, the victim fled to a nearby Chinese restaurant to call the police.
