Police in Upper Darby locate missing elderly man

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (YC) — Police said a 75-year-old missing man, who suffers from dementia from Upper Darby, Delaware County has been located.

The man identified as Francisco Martinez was reported missing 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning when police responded to an apartment in the 800 block of Providence Road in the Secane section.

YC reported that a Pennsylvania State Police chopper was hovering low above backyards throughout Upper Darby earlier today.

Transit Police Thomas Nestel also told YC that his department provided a drone to help search for the man earlier today.
