Police find stolen Christmas gifts in backyard of home

COLLINGDALE, Pa. (YC) — Police in Collingdale, Delaware County, took to Facebook Wednesday to announce that they found gifts.

According to police, several Christmas gifts were discovered discarded in a rear of a residence.

Police suspect the items may have been stolen from an unlocked vehicle, but cannot confirm.

They released the following statement:

Collingdale Police Officers recovered several Christmas gifts today discarded in a rear yard of a residence. We suspect these items may have been taken from an unlocked vehicle, but we have not received any reports as of this posting. If you or someone you know was the victim of a theft today please contact Collingdale Police or call 911. You will be asked to provide a description of the contents.
