CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) — Saturday morning Chester City Police responded to their 28th homicide of the year, according to police.
At approximately 1:20 a.m., authorities from the City of Chester Police Department received a call to respond to the area of 9th & Keystone Rd for the report of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers observed the victim, identified as 18-year-old Julian Deshields, laying in the middle of the street, suffering from numerous gunshot wounds to his back area.
Paramedics from Crozer Chester Medical Center were on location, and did pronounce the victim deceased at the scene.
