    SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (YC) – Police in Delaware County along with the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a bank robbery Wednesday.

    Police responded to the 800 block of Baltimore Pike just after 11 a.m. for the report of an active bank robbery.

    It is unclear if there is more than one suspect according to police radio transmissions – however, one suspect fled on foot through nearby backyards as police responded in under one minute.

    A resident told YC the actor was seen in his backyard momentarily but fled before police arrived.

    The man is described as a black male, approximately 5’4 in his 30’s wearing black gloves, a black hat and carrying a bag with an undisclosed amount of United States currency.

    The bank was still closed as of 12:15 p.m. Wednesday as detectives investigate.
