CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) – Police in Delaware County are investigating a shooting that left a well-respected laundromat clerk in the hospital late Tuesday night.
Chester City Police responded to D’s Laundromat at the intersection of Kerlin & Concord Ave just before 11 p.m. for the reports of a gunshot victim.
Police quickly discovered that the victim was the clerk at the laundromat who was just robbed at gunpoint by 4 men wearing all black clothing with masks.
According to police, the clerk was shot in the thigh and was immediately transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center for treatment.
