Chester City man carjacked at gunpoint Friday

CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) — Police responded to an armed carjacking on the 200 block of Thurlow Street just after 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The vehicle was a black Dodge Ram 1500.

A black male, approximately 6-feet tall wearing all black approached the victim and demanded him out of the vehicle at gunpoint.

The carjacker ditched the car on the 3000 block of 2nd Street, a patrol officer located it while driving through the city.
