Car struck by gunfire Wednesday in Chester

CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) — Police in Delaware County are investigating a shooting in Chester City Wednesday night.

Just after 8 p.m., shots rung out in the area of 12th & Highland.

When police arrived, they noticed a car struck several times by gunfire.

Numerous calls for help came in just before police arrived, stating a moving car was struck.

Nobody was struck, but the vehicle had extensive damage from the gunfire.

This is an ongoing investigation.
