Man involved in would-be arson forgets lighter; winds up wanted by police

Philadelphia Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a man wanted for attempted arson .. yes, attempted arson, the suspect forgot to add a lighter to his checklist.

It all went down February 20th when Philadelphia Police in the 15th District were called to the 7300 block of Revere Street for a report of an arson.

Upon police arrival the home owner stated that an unknown person was observed on video pouring a liquid from a gas container onto her lawn and into the central air conditioner unit.

No attempt was made to ignite the liquid. Police retrieved video surveillance of this incident.
