UPDATE: 7:35 p.m. EST
City of Chester Police Captain Chubb tells yc.news that police swarmed the area of 10th and Pine just before 12:45 p.m. in the City of Chester for reports of numerous shots fired in the area. They tell us Bevan Freeman, 33, was shot in the leg and James Lawler, 20, was shot in the foot during an apparent drive-by shooting.
Just an hour later, they received a second call for reports of gunfire erupting on the 2700 block of West 3rd Street. This time, the gunman struck Shamir Conkey, 31, in the torso area. He is currently listed in serious condition at this time.
Detectives from the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division and City of Chester Police are overwhelmed with shootings on Easter Sunday.

We have learned that at least one person is in the hospital after suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the stomach … we also obtained photographs of a vehicle riddled by gunfire.
“We had a few shootings,” Captain James Chubb of the City of Chester Police Department told yc.news. No immediate follow-up information was immediately available as police are figuring out the madness.
