President Donald Trump is urging Americans to stop focussing on plastic straws right now due to bigger problems, yc.news could report.
“I do think we have bigger problems than plastic straws,” President Trump told reporters on Air Force One Friday afternoon. “It’s interesting about plastic straws. You have a little straw [but] what about the plates, the wrappers and everything else that are much bigger and they’re made of the same material?”
The question of straws was raised just before departing Joint Base Andrews for a scheduled campaign fundraiser at President Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
“So the straws are interesting. Everybody focuses on the straws. There is a lot of other things to focus on,” President Trump declared.
