Authorities are responding to at least one shooting in Texas in which there are multiple victims.

Citing the Texas Department of Public Safety, KOSA-TV reported that the public is urged to avoid Interstate 20 in Odessa, Midland and Big Spring as authorities search for a person who shot several people, including an officer.

Midland police said the department believes there are two shooters in separate vehicles. One of the suspects is driving a U.S. Postal Service van.

Odessa police said one of individuals hijacked the mail vehicle.
