    Police are on the scene of an active shooter at MillerCoors Headquarters in Milwaukee. The scene is near North 35th Street and West Highland Boulevard.

    According to preliminary reports, the call came in shortly before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

    Police described the scene as an ‘active situation’ when asked by Your Content. They warned the public to avoid the area of the 4000 block of West State Street.

    Police would not confirm that there was a shooting.

    Multiple sources told Your Content there were several shooting victims. The perimeter still remains a very active scene.

    A MillerCoors employee said she received an email about an active shooter near Building 4.

    Employees are sheltering in place. MillerCoors public relations confirmed there was an incident. They were still gathering details and could not comment further. Several agencies including SWAT officers are on the scene.

    No other details have been released.

    MillerCoors has about 1,400 employees in Milwaukee.
