The Douglas County Health Department in Nebraska confirms the first COVID-19 community spread, according to a press release by the department, Your Content can report.

The press release says the patient is a 60-year-old woman; initially, her illness was thought to be travel-related, but an investigation by DCHD determined her symptoms began to appear before her travels.

Health officials also report two new travel cases: a man in his 50s who traveled to and from Spain and a man in his 30s who arrived from Singapore. Both are in isolation, but neither is hospitalized.
