🦠 World Health Organization says 10k new people are contracting disease daily

The World Health Organization said Sunday in their daily coronavirus situation report that over 10,000 are contracting the deadly coronavirus on a daily basis, Your Content can report.

What’s more, nine new regions reported their first coronavirus cases. The new cases have been reported in the African and European Regions, and the Region of Americas. Globally there are 10,982 new cases of the virus with 343 deaths in the past 24 hours.



‘A WHO high-level technical mission concluded a visit to Iraq to support the Iraqi Ministry of Health in their COVID-19 prevention and containment measures.’ reads the report released at 7 p.m. Sunday. ‘WHO is working around the clock to establish 3 negative-pressure [contagious respiratory disease isolation] rooms in Baghdad, Erbil and Basra to accommodate patients who might require more sophisticated medical treatment.’
