Police in Delaware County are investigating a shooting that left a 6-year-old child dead Sunday night, Your Content has learned.
According to sources close to the investigation, police swarmed the 2600 block of Swarts St. just before 9:30 p.m. for reports of a gunshot victim. The caller further stated that a 6-year-old child had been shot in the face.
The child was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. There is no description of the suspect as of 10:45 p.m.
