US Hits All-Time COVID Record Numbers, Nearly 55,000 New Cases Overnight

IN the United States, at least 52,898 people tested positive for the COVID-19 in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the nation’s cumulative number of cases to 2,682,270, which marks the country’s highest daily rise since the pandemic began per Johns Hopkins University’s count.

Additionally, the data showed virus-related fatalities increasing by 706 to stand at 128,028, while the total number of tests distributed by health workers across the nation reached 32.7 million.
