MARY TRUMP broke her silence Wednesday night in an exclusive interview with George Stephanopoulos — claiming she has ‘no direct evidence’ to back explosive claims made in her book, Your Content is first to reveal. What’s more, the author says the ‘tell all’ book consists of ‘overstatements’ from sources she met during a bitter court battle.

George Stephanopoulos inquired about what evidence Mary has to back the serious claims made against President Trump in her new ‘tell all’ book.

“What’s your evidence of that?” asked Stephanopoulos.

“Just my experience, you know, what I witnessed in the family,” Mary Trump replied.

“It was, at the time, really unnerving– that my grandfather who had been such a forceful, domineering presence, you know, so strong and confident in everything he did was suddenly very timid — sometimes confused and sometimes frightened man, who clearly wasn’t sure what was going on around him much of the time.

“I don’t have evidence but I have sources close to Donald that told me what happened.”

The book titled Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man was released July 14.

Mary said: “And I thought my goal was to tell the story of how he regrouped, pulled himself up by his bootstraps so to speak, and, you know, was back bigger and better than ever. Unfortunately, there was — there was no evidence of this that I could find.

“I’m a Trump, you know? Everything’s about money in this family.”

The 55-year-old Trump works as a clinical psychologist, is a daughter of Fred Trump Jr., and a granddaughter of Fred Trump Sr.

The self-described author doubled down when asked about ‘taking President Trump down,’ a claim made in her book.

“Maybe a bit of an overstatement there because I did not think that’s anything that I or anyone else can do. In that moment I felt that I needed to do anything I could not just to stop this, but also to make up for the fact that I hadn’t done anything in the past,” stuttered Trump.

“Um, that weighed on me. Even though I knew it probably wouldn’t have made a difference.”

Mary says a reporter from the New York Times reached out to her after a civil lawsuit lodged against President Trump pertaining to a family trust.

“The pitch was that I had in my possession, because of the lawsuit, documents that they believed could help them uncover certain financial improprieties that my family, starting with my grandfather, h– been engaged in for decades. And, you know, finally, I guess at some point I thought, ‘Why not?’

“If this almost 14,000-word article didn’t have the kind of impact it should have had by all rights, then nothing I would have said necessarily would have mattered.”

The interview ended with Mary Trump saying she’d ask her uncle to resign if she had a chance to visit the Oval Office again.
