4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Nearby Massachusetts, Rhode Island Coast

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake took place off the coast of Massachusetts around 9:10 am Sunday. 

The USGS confirmed the quake.

The USGS said the quake was centered 4.0  to 9 km SSW of Bliss Corner, Massachusetts. That’s 2.5 to 5.5 miles off the coast, reports News 10 Tampa.
