    The Electoral College cast their votes formally electing Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States, Your Content has learned.

    Biden received over 270 electoral votes, the number needed to win the presidency. President Donald Trump received 232 electoral votes.

    The formal vote comes just days after the Supreme Court rejected the Texas lawsuit backed by Trump looking to invalidate the electoral votes from Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.
