During the Memorial Day weekend, a devastating incident occurred at Colorado’s Lake Pueblo, leaving one woman dead, one man missing, and 11 individuals, including 8 children, hospitalized, Your Content has learned.

The unfortunate event took place on Sunday when a large flat boat, carrying a total of 13 people near the lake’s north picnic area, capsized around 8 p.m.

Colorado Parks & Wildlife officials attribute the boat’s overturning to strong winds, which caused everyone aboard to be thrown into the water.

Tragically, the authorities recovered the body of a woman, and emergency services rushed a child to a local hospital, while nine others required hospitalization.
