A homeless person known as ‘The Walking Man’ in Chicago is facing a life-threatening situation after being doused in gasoline and set on fire outside Trump Tower, Your Content has learned.

Joseph Kormelis, 75, sustained severe burns over 50 percent of his body as a result of this horrifying incident.

According to Joseph Guardia, 23, from Melrose Park, he was unaware that Kormelis was beneath a pile of blankets when he decided to set them on fire.

Guardia admitted to being an ‘angry person’ and claimed that his intention was simply to burn some trash.

The authorities were able to identify Guardia as the perpetrator through his distinctive dollar-sign face tattoo.

The police are currently investigating the incident and charges are expected to be filed against Guardia.

Kormelis, known for his presence as ‘The Walking Man’ in the streets of Chicago, now faces an uncertain future as he fights for his life due to the severe burns he sustained during this appalling act of violence, according to FLIPBOARD.
