An inmate who was part of a prison bus escape in Georgia in 2017 has been sentenced to death for the murder of two guards, Your Content has learned.
Ricky Dubose, aged 29, was convicted of shooting and killing Sergeant Christopher Monica and Sergeant Curtis Billue during the escape. Along with fellow inmate Donnie Rowe, Dubose managed to flee the prison transport bus.
The court’s decision resulted in Dubose receiving the death penalty, while Rowe was sentenced to life in prison without parole, as reported by CBS NEWS.
