Jasmine Hartin, the former daughter-in-law of billionaire Lord Ashcroft, has opened up about the tragic incident in Belize where she accidentally shot and killed a police chief, Your Content has learned.

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Hartin described the terrifying moment when the gunshot rang out and the cop collapsed on top of her.

According to Hartin, she felt a sudden “bang” and saw an alarming amount of blood as the officer slumped over. In a desperate attempt to free herself from the weight of his body, she tried to “wiggle out from under him.”

However, as she struggled, the officer started to slip into the water nearby.
