Despite the severity of the assault, Tooley’s actions did not stop there.

After the alleged assault, Tooley reportedly placed an order for food delivery through DoorDash. It is believed that she then instructed the victim to remain silent while she retrieved the food.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the victim managed to free himself while Tooley was asleep, utilizing a knife that had been concealed under the bedcovers.

The incident came to light when the victim, having successfully escaped, contacted law enforcement for assistance. Local authorities swiftly responded to the distress call and subsequently arrested Tooley, charging her with multiple counts related to the assault.

The identity of the victim has not been disclosed to protect their privacy, and they were provided with immediate medical attention for the injuries sustained during the ordeal.

This incident has reignited discussions about the potential risks associated with online dating and the importance of personal safety when meeting strangers. Law enforcement officials are urging individuals to exercise caution and be vigilant while interacting with people they’ve met through online platforms.

As legal proceedings unfold, the community remains shaken by the shocking allegations, and experts anticipate that this incident will prompt further discourse on ensuring safety in the realm of modern dating,‘according to Centre Daily Times.
