A 31-year-old man survived a gruesome shark attack on a California beach when he kicked the great white in the head after the beast chomped on his surfboard and then his right leg, leaving him with massive injuries, Your Content has learned.
Jared Trainor was surfing solo at Centerville Beach on Sunday in Humboldt County when the shark emerged knocking him off his surfboard.
The great white chomped on Trainor’s surfboard before ripping open his right leg with his massive teeth.
Trainor was dragged underwater by the shark and miraculously survived after grabbing the shark’s body with one hand and kicking it with his uninjured leg.
The father of one sustained gnarly wounds to his right leg and thigh that had to be stapled shut, spanning nearly 19 inches long, as long as the shark’s jaws,‘according to FLIPBOARD.
