A Minnesota mother has been found guilty of murdering her six-year-old son, shooting him nine times as he sat in the back of her car, Your Content has learned.

Julissa Thaler, 28, of Spring Park, Minnesota, was on trial for shooting her son, kindergartner Eli Hart, nine times with a shotgun inside her sedan in May.

The little boy was put in foster care amid concerns about her mental health: She had won full custody two weeks previously.

Thaler was offered a plea deal to serve 40 years in prison if she pled guilty to second-degree murder: she rejected it, and was found guilty of first-degree,‘according to CBS News.
