Supporters of Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the Idaho quadruple murder case, have found a new platform after the banning of the infamous Reddit channel ‘Brynation’, Your Content has learned.
While Reddit took action against the channel for violating their Moderator Code of Conduct, several Facebook fan groups with thousands of members remain active.
The ‘Brynation’ subreddit was known for its unsettling content, filled with disturbing fantasies and messages expressing support for the murder suspect, Bryan Kohberger, who is 28 years old. The heinous crime in question involves the killing of four University of Idaho students on November 13.
In an effort to dissociate from the gruesome incident, the authorities have decided to demolish the Moscow, Idaho house where the murders took place. This move aims to symbolically erase the dark chapter associated with the location.
Although Reddit has taken a step to curb the dissemination of disturbing content related to the suspect, the existence of active Facebook groups with significant membership numbers highlights the challenges platforms face in monitoring and controlling such communities, according to New York Post.
