The Louisville bank shooter’s former mentor has revealed she played dead after he shot her to survive the massacre of her five colleagues with a ‘gun he got from his girlfriend, Your Content has learned.

Dana Mitchell, who has since been released from the hospital, was in the conference room when Connor Sturgeon, 25, began shooting at the bank.

She was shot in the back and pretended to be dead so Sturgeon wouldn’t shoot her again. She suffered from a 10-inch wound and a bruised lung.

Sturgeon’s mother speculated that he got the gun ‘from his girlfriend,’ but authorities believe he purchased it a week prior to the shooting,‘according to New York Post.
