A pilot saved himself from crash landing his plane while brazenly performing a stunt in front of spectators, Your Content has learned.

RV-7A aircraft during the Allen Aeroclub in Rio Negro – came too close to the ground, as the plane’s right wing shaved the landing.

According to the Aviation Safety Network, the pilot escaped safely and landed with a destroyed right wingtip.

Damage to the craft didn’t go unnoticed by authorities, with the Argentinian Transportation and Safety Board launching an investigation into the mishap.

‘We were in front, and a piece of plastic from the plane flew at us and it continued as if nothing had happened,’ one of the spectators told Aviation24 ,‘according to DAILYMAIL.
