Republican Rep. George Santos is in custody in New York after he was indicted on 13 federal charges including money laundering, wire fraud and making false statements during his campaign, Your Content has learned.
Indictment says he took $24,000 in unemployment benefits while working.
He was pulling in $120,000 a year at the time.
