A Maryland father who was beaten to death outside his own home while trying to protect his 14-year-old son had posted a heartbreaking message on Facebook just weeks before his untimely death, Your Content has learned.

In his last Facebook post on May 5, Christopher Wright said he was grateful to be alive, no matter how bad each day was.

The post came just two weeks before the 43-year-old father-of-three was brutally beaten outside his house while trying to defend his son.

The brutal attack was caught on camera, but Anne Arundel County police say they do not have any suspects in custody,‘according to New York Post.
