Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted for her involvement in procuring girls for Jeffrey Epstein, found herself in conflict with two Cuban inmates after they criticized her for her aloof and snobbish behavior, Your Content has learned.

According to a source who spoke with DailyMail.com, the two inmates discovered that Maxwell had an arrangement with a kitchen worker who would provide her with extra fruit, vegetables, and tofu, in exchange for items from the prison commissary.

When the Cuban inmates learned about this arrangement, they demanded that Maxwell spend her entire $360 commissary limit on them, threatening to report her if she didn’t comply. They even wrote her a note, which Maxwell presented as evidence of blackmail to the Lieutenant’s office.

As a result, the Cuban inmates were each placed in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) for 47 days, where they spent 23 hours a day in small cells and received their meals through slots in the door.

Ironically, Maxwell herself spent 48 hours in the SHU after participating in an interview with British broadcaster Jeremy Kyle. However, an internal investigation concluded that she had not profited from the interview, and she was subsequently released.

Maxwell’s encounter with the Cuban inmates left her in a state of distress, with a reported nervous breakdown. She even requested a transfer, but instead of opting for self-segregation in protective custody, she chose to remain in the general population.

One of the Cuban inmates, known for instigating fights and intimidating others, is set to be released later this month. Maxwell hopes that the prison guards can ensure her safety until then.

Maxwell’s appeal against her convictions is being handled by high-powered attorney Arthur Aidala, who is also representing disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein. Aidala argues that Maxwell was used as a “proxy” to appease public anger following Epstein’s suicide in 2019.

Despite her complaints about prison life, Maxwell has access to various sporting facilities, including a 400m running track, and she teaches classes such as yoga, Pilates, and etiquette to other female inmates.

Before her arrest, Maxwell had a social circle that included Prince Andrew and former President Bill Clinton. In prison, she has been acquainted with individuals like Linda Morrow, who was involved in insurance fraud, and Narcy Novack, serving a life sentence for hiring hitmen to murder her husband and mother-in-law.

Maxwell, the daughter of disgraced newspaper magnate Robert Maxwell, was convicted on five counts of grooming minors in December 2021. Judge Alison Nathan emphasized that Maxwell was being punished for her own role in the crimes, not as a substitute for Epstein.
