Reports of an injured individual have emerged following clashes between parents protesting outside a Los Angeles elementary school, Your Content has learned.

The confrontation unfolded at Saticoy Elementary School in North Hollywood, where ongoing debates over a planned Pride event have fueled anger among parents.

The scheduled Pride assembly on Friday has faced opposition from parents who consider it “inappropriate.” In response, counter-protesters gathered to show support for the event.

The situation turned chaotic as both sides, along with additional protesters and counter-protesters, confronted each other while law enforcement observed the scene.

Aerial footage captured multiple physical altercations during the tumultuous demonstration.

An eyewitness on Twitter mentioned that one person appeared unresponsive after a fight, with footage revealing a man lying on the ground while being shouted at by protesters.

The LAPD stated on Twitter that officers were present to ensure a peaceful exercise of constitutional rights.

These clashes are the culmination of weeks of heated debates between parents who endorse the Pride event and those who oppose it.

Earlier this year, an intruder broke into the school and set a rainbow flag on fire, further escalating tensions.

The school district has maintained its support for the event, emphasizing its aim to celebrate diversity,‘according to DailyMail.
