Denver police have reported a tragic incident involving a road rage altercation on Interstate 25, resulting in the fatal shooting of two individuals, Your Content has learned.

According to authorities, the victims were traveling together in a single vehicle on Tuesday when they decided to halt their journey in the righthand lane near a bustling interchange.

Subsequently, one of the passengers exited the vehicle and approached another car that had also come to a stop. Shockingly, the driver of the second vehicle allegedly discharged a firearm at the approaching passenger.

By a stroke of luck, a Denver detective happened to be passing by when the shooting unfolded.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the detective diligently trailed the suspect’s vehicle and promptly alerted uniformed officers to facilitate the arrest of the 25-year-old driver.
